For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
John
3:16-17
~
Be
careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians
4:6
~
But
as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have
entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love Him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the
Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Gary R. Smith grew up in a small Texas town
outside of Houston, called Jacinto City. Reared the son of a
minister, Gary figured out at a very young age that ministers do not go
into the ministry to become financially wealthy. He wanted to use
his singing and writing ability to become a Rock-n-Roll Star!
Gary's dad taught him how to play a guitar and by the time he was 12, he
was writing his own songs and had formed his own band. Gary
decided he was going to make his mark on the Nashville Music scene.
Before Gary was 20 he had landed his first
recording contract with International Artist Recording Studios out of
Houston, Texas and had started performing with stars such as B.J.
Thomas, Mickey Gilley, Grady Nutt of Hee Haw, and a host of others.
Gary had begun to attract attention and receive recording contract
offers from companies like RCA, Columbia and several very strong
Independent Companies.
Guess what happened on the way to the top? Gary had a
praying mother that would not give up on him and Gary R. Smith became a BORN
AGAIN CHRISTIAN!!
Since then, Gary has served on the staff of
five churches. He is licensed and ordained to preach the Gospel of
Jesus Christ. He is a member of Houston's First Baptist Church.
Gary has led in City-Wide Crusades, and has has filmed three Gary R.
Smith Television Specials. Performing in over 500 concerts, Gary
has performed in the company of such greats as Cynthia Clawson, The
Cruse Family, Wanda Jackson and many more.
Since that time, Gary has become a national and international recording
artist with Redeemer Record Company out of Houston, Texas. He has
taken his singing and preaching throughout America and various other
parts of the world. Gary regularly is the featured singer on many
Christian television programs. His songs are hitting the charts
all over the United States and abroad.
Gary has released ten albums, among them
"Road To Life's Other Side" and "I'll Do It For
Love" which includes three #1 hits. Gary continues to release
singles on various compilation disc projects, and is currently working
on his new CD.
Gary will perform in about 150 concerts this
year, not to mention his ministry in churches across the United States.
Gary says, "I want to use my God given talent to spread the Good
News of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world and to encourage
believers everywhere." From America to India to Australia to
the farthest part of our world, Gary's music and ministry, through the
power of the Holy Spirit is touching and changing people's lives.
Smith says, "My goal through concerts,
revivals and personal appearances is to see JESUS CHRIST, MY LORD AND
SAVIOUR, EXALTED!!! TO HIM BE ALL GLORY AND PRAISE!!!!"

"Red
reminds me of the blood of Jesus shed for you and me. Blue
and Purple represents royalty. We are a part of the royal
family of God. And White reminds me of the fact that my sins are
washed away and I stand before God as white as snow."
