Transportation:
Jal
is only an hour and ten minutes away from the Midland, Texas
International Airport and an hour away from Hobbs Municipal
Airport. There is a local airport that accommodates
all Turbo Prop Twins and some of the light jets. There
are no traffic jams, and travel from one end of town to the
other can be accomplished within 5 minutes if you don't stop
to chat with all your friends and neighbors. |

From fishing,
golf, swimming, sports activities, to annual events such as
the popular July 4th Celebration and the Annual Jalarama

boasts one of the finest
Senior Citizens Centers in Southeastern New Mexico located
at the Woolworth Public Library. The Senior Citizens
Center participates in the State Meal Program and has home
bound meal delivery. We love our Senior Citizens and
invite you to retire in Jal, where the quiet peaceful living
will agree with you. |
Industrial
Opportunities:
The
City of Jal is focusing its sights on industry and
technology for the future. The City of Jal and the Jal
School District have several available building locations
for various uses with room for potential development.
The City also has available improved land sites that would
lend themselves to housing development, retail and service
trades. The railroad passes through Jal twice daily.
