Jal is a special place.  We think you will enjoy being part of a community where everyone is welcome, and friendly people are our greatest asset.  

Jal also offers a good climate, readily available and affordable utilities, affordable housing and commercial buildings.  We have ready access to the internet, and other telecommunications services necessary for today's businesses.

Jal has an excellent public schools system with grades K through 12.  ITV courses allow high school students to take classes for college credit, and several junior colleges, four year colleges and universities are located in nearby cities.  We can boast a public/school library that is one of the finest in New Mexico.

The library also serves as the meeting place for the monthly Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee, where everyone is invited to learn what is going on within the community while enjoying a free breakfast.Check out Community Calendar for dates and times.
